You have to be careful not to cross-thread the plastic or the water will seep through and leak. I know this because my landlord is super handy and he explained it to me while he installed the hose. It's been a few days and no leaks. I keep a paper towel under the fittings just in case, so a little leak won't go unnoticed. I will update this review if that changes. So far, so good. It's easy to install, and everything works as it should. The white plastic is easy to clean.
