A: No, this unit is not AC adaptable.  Have a nice day.

**Q: I haven't seen much said about the cd's and this is mostly what i want this for so i can listen with the ear phones???**
A: This one only plays cassette tapes.  You want to go with something different for CDs and I think there are a lot of those available.

**Q: does it play normal and metal tapes?**
A: I know it plays normal tapes but I don't know what metal tapes are.  Sorry.

**Q: does this walkman come with headphones?**
A: Yes. It comes with the headphones that are pictured in the ad for it. I really love mine.
