Once you figure out where one end goes(thru the little loop at the other end), and how they need to be pointing in opposite direction(one is for left other for right or same direction if you have 2 right hands), you need to see the video on how to do the motorcycle bar grip(Trust me, it works). Once all that is sorted out, holy smokes, they work magically. No wrist pain, no readjusting, no looking like a delicate flower(which I totally am. New to gym and all) . Weight evenly distributed onto the base of your hand and you use your target muscles for the heavy lifting. Zero complaints. The foam padding was comfortable.
