I found the book to be so compelling, that after reading it, I ordered a hard copy for myself so that I could easily mark pages, add notes in the margins, and highlight areas that I were important to me.I have to admit, the book starts off a little hokey, with all the "love baths" and such, but once you get past all of that, there is some really good LIFE CHANGING information here. And not just a little either. It is a must read for any woman / teen. No book is inclusive of all the knowledge, skills and experiences one needs to be and do their best, but it IS a conversation starter. She takes the approach to loving yourself like you would in a relationship with another person eg, have your own date night get dressed up or go away by yourself (like a couples weekend away). Which I like the idea of. Also when you wake in the morning to hug yourself and feel the love within you see yourself filled with pink light - I think that's a good practise.She rambles a lot though and she's really hyped up, I found a lot of it hard to read. Throughout the book she says to go to her website and get the practises she recommends doing - which I find annoying, the whole point of a book is to have everything in the book to do. I felt like it was a manipulation to go onto her website.Loving yourself is not a new concept.
