**Q: can u eat this raw and do u have to put it in the frige before u eat it?**
A: It is consumed raw.  You only chew the inner pulp so that it releases juice in your mouth.  You then discard the remaining pulp without swallowing it.  Chilled or at room temperature depends on your preference.  You can also juice it in a press.  In that case you don’t have to cut away the hard outer skin.
