A: I have this fan. I can stop it no problem with one finger; it is extremely weak and once you touch it, it stops. There is no feeling of a powerful motor driving it.

**Q: What CFM does the fan produce at top speed?**
A: I have been monitoring my fan for over 24 hours, and no matter what the stove top temp from 185 up to 600, the speed is exactly the same.

**Q: can I purchase replacement motors**
A: Runs with a Peltier Generator (it looks like a little white chip) which, in 2017 sell for around $20. The electric motor is just a regular low voltage D.C. motor sold at any craft shop for about $2.50.

**Q: Can this fan be installed in ductwork above a wood stove?**
A: No. it sits on your stove and the heat from the stove top generates the heat into the fan and then the blades turn.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works ok, but doesn't blow very strong.

Nothing wrong with this fan, and it starts spinning with the least bit of heat that comes through the top of the wood stove. It spins like crazy, but it doesn't blow the heat forward that well. Maybe the fan blades aren't big enough to move the air much? I expected it to really blow the heat forward away from the stove, but even holding my hand right in front of it, it doesn't blow very much. It probably does keep the air circulating somewhat I guess. I'm just surprised it doesn't work like I expected. It is quite safe too, if you touch the spinning blades with your hand (not recommended!) the blades will stop and not do much damage if any to your hand. In case anyone is wondering if the blades are dangerous.
