The artwork is bold and stunning. The colors and lines of the artwork is eye-catching and delightful. Card stock is good, a bit sticky when you first get them. I'm hoping that improves with usage. The card backings are so beautiful...simple but lovely in red with a yellow/golden mandala. They look stunning on my altar table. The cards are quite large, perfect size though, in my opinion, for an Oracle deck. The size really, really lets you take in the artwork...if the cards were smaller, the details of the artwork would suffer...again, my opinion, of course. The guide book is short and sweet with just the/an elaborated affirmation of each card per page, pretty much. If you don't like wordy guidebooks, you'll likely love this one. If you love good "meaty" guidebooks, this one will fall short in that department, most likely. I typically like the in-between space, not too much information that it falls into the "overload" category but enough that I get a good feel for each card's message...with this one, at least right now, I feel like I'd like a bit more information but this could change the more I get to "know" the deck. I'm thinking that they've allowed room for your intuition to wander a bit, to get a feel for what the card means for you, personally. I do have the feeling that I'll have to make a bit of effort with this deck if I want to really connect with it and have it warm to me. While it is beautiful and well done, it has a slight bit of a "cold" feel to me...again, it's new so I'm sure this will correct itself with time. I mention this because, with some decks, you feel an instant warmth, an instant "hug" upon "meeting" a new deck but I just didn't get that feeling with this one so I thought to pass the thought along. Overall, this deck is everything a Blue Angel deck should be. Great boxing, good card stock, lovely artwork. I look forward to working with this beautiful deck for years to come. The cards seem very good quality, like they'll hold up very well with use/time. The colors are quite vivid. They are unlike any other cards I've had before. There is such a strong divine feminine energy in the messages and wisdom, and everything is written in such a loving, supportive, and inspirational way. I loved them enough to just buy another set as a gift.
