The cable, I regret is not with me at the moment to check, but I would bet 10 to 12 feet. I attach it to the cab end/bed of my truck with a chain and stretch it out to past the tailgate to latch on to my 4 wheeler. It is a kawasaki 250 and it pulls it right on up - no issues.
