I took a paint roller and cut off the plastic roller ends so I just have the metal hook. It is super sturdy and the roller does not wobble on the end when fully extended. The pole extends smoothly and latches securely. I am able to create a nice even pressure when using it fully extended. It made fast work of a daunting task. AND it saved my neck and shoulders from being strained. I would pay 3 times what they charge, it's that good.
