The gold inlays are absolutely beautiful, and all the metal is brilliant and color accurate to the film. It is very sturdy, and if you wanna swing it around the back yard, it won’t fall apart as long as you’re not hitting stuff with it. The plaque is included and is made of solid wood, or at least very convincingly feels and appears to be. The “cons”: I use this word loosely, as I don’t really view these things as cons, so much as things you ought to know. First, and the closest thing to a con, this does not come with a scabbard. So if you’re interested in cosplaying with this, you’ll need to do some research and shop around because UC doesn’t even make one specifically for this replica as far as I can tell. Second, and most obviously, this is not a battle ready blade. The stainless steal is beautiful, but likely not tempered. It arrived in its original packaging, which was custom made by United Cutlery to protect the product and prevent it from accidentally stabbing a mailman.
