Both had habitual battery terminal corrosion issues. CorrosionX HD would work as least that long. Either of the CorrosionX products will completely eliminate this issue. **Q: Will this work to loosen an engine thats been sitting a few yrs and has rusted cylinders?** A: I use this product on an old "yard art" tractor I have in my yard. I remove the spark plugs occasionally and spray the product into the cylinder heads to keep the engine free to turn. The engine was free turning when I got the tractor, so I really don't know if it will free up an already-rusted engine. It probably depends upon how thick the rust is. **Q: Has anyone used this to lubricant wood? I.e drawers/dresser** A: This is not a good lubricant. It is greasy and all and sticks to things well but it is not a lubricant. ALSO!!! Wood does not work well with greasy lubricants or silicones. Wooden drawers are best lubricated with plain bar soap. Ivory is what I use. Look for the surfaces that touch/rub/slide and rub the bar on it. It will do the best job. **Q: Can it be used as a lubricant on garage door metal rollers?** A: Yes it can. And it will last much longer lighter weight lubricants.
