It is very sturdy. It made post setting a lot easier. I like everything about this tool, except, I would've liked it to have a longer slide tube. 18" is great, but 24" would be fantastic. But it can still deliver a powerful blow. You can drive a post a lot quicker than other methods with it. It would also be great at setting chain link fence posts. That's what I used my old one for. It doesn't damage those pipe pipe poles like a heavy hammer would. It's a lot cheaper than buying a gas powered driver.
