Material was very thick and strong, so made it easy to put it on the mattress, as well as lift or pull it by the bag. The mattress was mainly slid out of the house and across the yard to the shed, and there were no nicks or tears in the bag. For storage, we taped down the open end, for which there was plenty of excess to do this. When we opened it again after a few months for guest use, there were no signs of wearing on the bag, or insects or moisture inside the bag. Overall very pleased with this inexpensive product, which made job much easier, and provided the protection we were hoping for.

**Q: Is this bag air-tight, suitable for vacuum sealing? Perhaps with structural support such as duct tape, intend to shrink/roll a foam mattress.**
A: Yes, I used heavy tape after enclosing mattress in bag and sealed ends of bag together leaving a small section to insert vacuum hose.  Next I folded the bag at the top onto the mattress to make it snug and then inserted vacuum tube and started extracting air.  It went faster than I imagined.  As the air was beginning to be expelled, I started rolling the mattress into a roll.  When I felt it was done I put straps around the mattress in three places and used them to help lift and move the rolled mattress.  Mine was a foam mattress.  It wasn’t hard I did this by myself and it was queen size.  I am 5’2”, a helper would have been good while rolling up the mattress, but I did a great job.

**Q: Can I put a twin box frame in this?**
A: Yes you can . . but not both , it will either fit he mattress or the box frame, . . but yes, it will fit a box frame, and the plastic is very thick and durable.

**Q: Can this be used to store a box spring?**
A: Yes it can. We used it for our mattress and box spring when we moved

**Q: Is this just 1cover?**
A: mattress fits inside-  can be used as storage also-1 bag per package -

This bag is very heavy duty and seems much sturdier than advertised - it is the thickest and nicest 5 mil plastic we have ever seen. We are using it to cover a twin mattress that will be transported in the back of our (mostly) work truck. It appears to be well suited to the task (keeping the mattress clean and being thick enough not to tear or rip en route). It was easy to unfold and put on the mattress since it is very roomy. We plan to use removable (paint) tape to seal the overlap so that the tape removal will be easy and not damage the plastic. It doesn't appear that any kind of tape will damage this heavy duty plastic but it is our personal preference to be able to remove all the tape and fold the bag for future use once the mattress move is completed. This bag seems sturdy enough to be used many times long into the future.
