I try to purchase one each time it come available for fear there will be a time they are discontinued.The leatherette is durable. I'm a little hard on my journal because I never leave home without it and it gets stuck in bags, jackets, and luggage often. I added my own pen holder and the pen fits snug inside the closing tab. The binding is reliable and the design is embossed and weathers most punishment.The only complaint I have is you can't select a color. Really, I don't care.
