I like that this is well designed, compact, and can accommodate USB devices. It comes well packed, and has a travel pouch provided. This one also comes with a USB power adapter so you can charge your MP3 player, cell phone, etc. The thing that makes this product stand out is the replaceable fuse and the spare fuses. The fuse does what it is supposed to and protects your tech from power surges. There is a built in replacement fuse compartment with replacement fuses already in there. I've used this with power strips attached to generators in the middle of the desert, in old hotels in Europe, or even just using the USB adapter at home in the USA. The device failed to charge and no other usb device (phone, kindle, ipod, etc) has ever charged through the port. I thought i received a broken one, but I have the same issue with a replacement. According to the directions, the red LED should come on in when powered properly, but neither unit ever did. If you want it for a standard plug conversion system, it is great.
