THE Review: Great no frills Bluray player - I originally hesitated ordering this player because of some of the bad reviews, but buying refurbished is definitely the way to go. It's been a few months now and i have had no major issues, only minor complaints. The most obvious flaw is the build quality....not a deal breaker, but just something to be aware of. For instance, as others have stated, the disc tray is a bit flimsy but works fine. Another thing i noticed is how it handles scratched discs. Instead of skipping, the screen will go black when it has trouble reading the disc, but it will read some pretty scratched up discs. These issues are nit picking, but someone may find it useful to know. The really good thing is how well this player works! Boot up is really fast as well as initial disc read time. Picture quality is second to none, as well as audio quality. Really so many good qualities about this player to list so if your on the fence, just buy it, you won't regret it. Review: Good value. It's perfectly functional and everything that I expected (I've had great luck with Certified Refurbished electronics).
