This amp has it all...the sound, the power, the subtle tube nuances and only a tube preamp. This is the BEST amp I've ever played! If you want a great bass amp GET THIS ONE!!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An ideal head *by N***O on March 26, 2023* Looks great, good quality, and sounds great. I like this head much better than the Super Bassman I previously owned and it’s hundreds less. It is very light but looks like a Bassman tube head, plus it fits on my vintage Bassman 2x15 cabinet due to its shallow depth. The clean tone really does sound like a tube Bassman, but with much better headroom. Two year update: I’ve gigged and rehearsed with this for two years now. Still functions and sounds great. It’s the first head I’ve had that rivals the sound and punch I got from my old Mesa 400+. The only issue I have had is with the weight. This head feels solid, but it is very light. You will need a way to keep it from skittering all over the cabinet from the vibrations.
