I had recently had a change of events that put me in a very scary place. I have been with the same job for over ten years, and now my boss is retiring. I'm 52 years old, and have known nothing else for over a decade. Also, my son, his wife and my first granddaughter, who is only 14 months old just moved away to Tennessee. I now only see her every three months, while all of my friends get to see theirs every weekend. My children live all over the country, and I am a single mom. I miss them so much that I don't know how to move on from any of it. I was also recently diagnosed with epilepsy and my seizures are frequent and out of control. So starting a new career in an office full of strangers that don't know how to handle this disease is terrifying! With all of that being said, it all became too much for me, and I hit an all time low. One day I decided to pick myself off the floor and do something about it. I thought an audio book would help, since reading is not my thing. I researched so many books, which can be overwhelming! I finally asked God to help me find the perfect one, and Andrian's book just spoke to me! It truly brought me out of my depression after listening to the very first chapter. I immediately had a new positive mindset, and life became hopeful again. His voice is very uplifting, and even quotes the bible. Something that I need desperately. He also suggests many other Authors and inspirational speakers. My favorite being Terri Savelle Foy whom I listen to everyday! In the last chapter Andrian states that "God put this book in your hands for a reason" and that couldn't be more true. I fully believe it. This book has brought me out the darkness and into the light. The Power of Positive Energy is loaded with helpful information that can help you learn how to eradicate negative thoughts and start improving your life almost instantly! Andrian Teodoro is a fantastic writer who really speaks to you throughout the book as you read. I felt like I was sitting next to him having a personal conversation. Throughout this book, Andrian refers to you as "friend," which makes the conversational element really stand out. I felt as if this book spoke to me personally.One of the most unique aspects of this book is that it utilizes Christianity and many excellent bible passages that coincide with positive thoughts and positive thinking. Andrian often refers to the power of God and prayer which I believe can be a very helpful strategy for positivism. A few months ago, I prayed to God for the first time for a huge favor and it truly worked. Even if you are not a Christian or Catholic, you can still utilize this information to work with your own God.This book is not too long and not too short - just the right length and fully packed with all of the information you need to educate yourself on how to alter your thought process to be positive.
