This diaper is well made and works great as a swim diaper (without using the insert of course). The snaps are solid and don't come undone during wearing/swimming and most important- it holds the poop in!!! My daughter (who's almost 2) seems to find swimming very relaxing and poops just about every single time we go swimming and seeing as how we have a swimming pool in our backyard- that's a lot! We have to check the diaper to see if she pooped because it holds solids in so well- definitely nothing floating in the pool with this diaper.Regarding the fit, as previously stated my daughter is almost 2 and average weight. She has several snaps to go before outgrowing this diaper which is great for us but makes me wonder how well it will fit smaller/younger babies.
