I do like the black skirt better then the clear that was on my old mask. I don't have a small head and my daughter does not have a big head but somehow this mask fit me perfect and also worked great for my six year old daughter. Every time we were in the pool she was using my mask so I finally bought her one. I definitely like to pay a little more and get the Made in Italy version. That is just me. Keep in mind that my only experience with this mask is in a swimming pool. I have not had any issues with fit, fogging or anything else in the short time that I have owned the mask.
