Secondly, it is very well made, with a PU outer and a flock interior lining. It is 8 inches (20cm) deep on all 3 sides, other than where it tapers inwards, for the final 12cm.Thirdly, it was very easy to fit and sits snugly on all 3 sides of my Dell 27 inch Ultra-slim monitor - with no gaps. The only issue, in terms of the fitting, is that the thin elastic band that is meant to sit along the bottom edge of the monitor was cover the buttons, so I positioned it along the back of the monitor. It doesn't affect how well the hood fits around the monitor, and could probably have been left off completely.The real test of this monitor is whether it reduces reflections. I would say, for my situation, not entirely. I have windows on the right hand side and directly facing the screen and would not have expected it to have eliminated them entirely. But there is a noticeable difference in the strength of the colours and definition of the image - at least a 70% improvement, and I'm not struggling to work on my photography editing, during the daytime.Maybe the quality of this product has been improved since some of the reviews were written. I can't say, but I can say, while it's not cheap, it was worth buying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 割としっかりしています。 *by 忍***忍 on Reviewed in Japan 🇯🇵 on 1 November 2019* 他の方の評判を見て悩みましたが他に良いのが無いため購入メーカーが遮光フードを出していれば問題なかったが今回購入したモニタのメーカは遮光フードを作っていなかった。遮光フードとしては満足な出来です。モニタ側にも映り込まないための生地が張ってあり遮光フードとしては出来は良いです。◇問題点は以下に書きます。作りの問題だとは思うが左右の下の方は少しモニタから離れてしまう。裏側の光をふさぐ考慮を強化して欲しい（スポンジ以外も追加した改善版が欲しいところ。）それと、キャリブレーションするための考慮が無いてのが残念です。上部に開閉可能な蓋を用意して欲しい。まだまだ改善が必要な個所は見受けられる。使用しているモニタ：PX7 PRIME ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 18 November 2018* Photograph editing.
