## Overview

The Chiran Harvest Masters Collection is a limited-edition matcha blend crafted from the innovative Seimei cultivar, developed in 2017. Grown exclusively in Chiran, Kagoshima Prefecture, this matcha offers a smooth, creamy texture with unique nutty malt flavors. With only about 150kg produced annually, it represents a rare, single-estate origin tea that rivals the best matcha from traditional regions like Uji and Shizuoka.

## Description

For the serious matcha enthusiast, we’ve come up with a new range that demonstrates the incredible range and versatility of flavours that are possible with matcha tea. If you enjoy matcha in its unadulterated form as usucha, koicha or some variant of matcha tea, then this is for you.
Our Master’s Collection matcha is single estate origin and available in limited quantities each year. Whether it’s an incredible new flavour or just a bona fide top-of-the-line blend, we’re confident that each blend released into our Master’s Collection brings something new to the table.
As our network grew in Japan, we came to know of tea growers pursuing innovation and improvement. They were starting to produce leaves that measured up to the best matcha Uji had to offer, yet were eager to experiment with new cultivars and techniques. So we linked them up with our tea blending experts and came up with a set of matcha blends that we knew would be appreciated by matcha lovers all around the world.
Produced using the Seimei cultivar, a new tea plant cultivar that has not yet entered commercial production

## Features

- ✓ Introducing, The Master’s Collection - In the course of our work, we meet many tea estates and companies. Some large, some tiny, some focused on quantity, others focus on quality. The Master’s Collection showcase the best and the boldest blends of matcha that come from these growers.
- ✓ A Brand New Cultivar - In 2017, the regional cooperative were experimenting with creating different cultivars of the tea plant to further enhance the flavours in matcha. They ended up with a new cultivar they named Seimei. It’s known for its excellent green colour and signature aroma.
- ✓ A Unique Blend For The Matcha Connoisseurs - The Limited Edition Chiran Harvest looks great and smells great, but also tastes great. It has a very smooth, very creamy texture and interesting nutty malt flavours. Perfect when made into traditional matcha teas.
- ✓ Limited Quantities - Because the Seimei cultivar has not yet entered full-scale commercial production, quantity is limited and we sometimes run out of stock. Waiting times may vary depending on the month of the year. Only approximately 150 kg available each year.
- ✓ Proudly Made In Chiran, Kagoshima Prefecture - Once upon a time, Kagoshima tea was seen as cheap and low quality. This is no longer the case. In fact, many of them have adapted strongly to the regional climate and terroir to produce great matcha and teas that have begun to rival the best that places like Uji and Shizuoka have to offer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible single-origin find. Chiran harvest at its best!
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 May 2026*

As a regular matcha drinker, I was excited to try this Chiran Harvest Limited Edition from Naoki, and it’s a total game-changer.The color is a stunning, vibrant green and the powder is incredibly fine. I usually make my matcha with almond milk, and this one blends beautifully. Because it's from the Chiran region, it has this rich, smooth umami flavor that pairs perfectly with the nuttiness of almond milk. Most importantly, there is absolutely zero bitterness, so you don't even need to add any sweeteners. It makes the most velvety, high-end matcha latte at home. Definitely worth every penny, I will be restocking!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow

Matcha in the evening to me is like my morning coffee. I used to purchase matcha from Japan. But import fees are ridiculous now. So I thought I would give this a go. Now like coffee, matcha varies in its tones and sweetness when it comes from different places. Even though this is not the same as the one from Japan, it’s very very good matcha considering every factor. Also it’s very rich so if I make a tea, I only use half a tsp, and very thick so great for Koicha (“thick”). I cannot get over how the flavour comes through so lovingly in a latte! Usually when you go to a coffee shop to get a matcha latte, it tastes nice but there is a slight after taste because they are not using ceremonial grade matcha, they are using the very cheap slightly dull green matcha. Here when I make a matcha, the flavours come through, the colour is beautiful and it tastes cosy and is perfect before bed. The Japanese imported matcha didn’t handle well being in milk but I would purchase the cheapest he sold because the thicker matcha like this was too much for me to import. I’m so happy to have discovered this, I really hope they don’t change the quality or the price. I am aware things are rapidly changing with our British economy. But pleeeeeaaasseee always stay affordable and if the highest quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vibrant

So after reading all the reviews I decided to go ahead and try this brand of matcha. It smells very earthy and grassy. It is much better than some other brands on amazon. This particular brand is not very bitter and is probably a good choice if you are just starting out with matcha. Overall its a good matcha.Just a quick Tip!! avoid using soya milk if you are making a matcha Latte Either use normal Full fat milk or alternative milk like Almond, Oat and coconut. I make it both ways just with water and usually in the mornings when I am going to work I make a matcha latter. Also invest in a milk frother it makes it smoother when you drink your matcha latte.I hope this helps MATCHA LOVERS. LOVE AND LIGHT
