## Description

These noodles are made from the Konjac root, also called White Yam. They have a gelatinous texture and are a good source of the dietary fiber Glucomannan. It is a natural plant that grows in the mountains of East Asia. The plant is widely known in China and Japan for its health benefits. We use the extracted fiber from the plant's root and mix it with water to create delicious noodles. These noodles are a high-fiber food yet have no carbohydrates. The Glucomannan fiber in the noodles is a type of viscous fiber (soluble fiber). This is similar to what is found in chia seeds why they can absorb up to 50 times their weight in water. They have virtually no taste on their own but have a slight fish-like smell when packaged wet. This is due to the water they are packaged in and can be easily rinsed off. Directions Open the bag, drain the water, and rinse them really well for like 1 mins. Boil them in soup for 2 mins. Alternatively boil in water for 2 mins, drain, then you can use it to cook with these though: pad thai, salad, fried noodle or soup.

Review: Low carb and an alternative to rice noodles - I really like the way these noodles are twisted up. I make a spring roll with , the rice wraps, shrimp cilantro, mint . Using these noodles instead of rice noodles gives you less carbs. I use these type of noodles for spaghetti for everything because I am a diabetic.. these types of noodles you do have to rinse them real well I heat them up in a dry skillet to get the water out a little bit after I rinse them because they do have an little odor , but rinse well I’m fine with the texture. It’s a little different than other noodles and there’s no real taste. It takes on whatever you season it with so it’s just the base I like them and I would buy them again and again.. this package for the amount you get was a little pricey I think. They used to sell them in my grocery store and now they do not. I’m sure on desertcart you could find some probably cheaper. They’re all about the same. I’ve had different ones and they taste about the same but for the purpose of spring rolls they work real well.
Review: Barf - If this is low carb eating I would rather be fat. I rinsed and prepared according to the package but nothing could have prepared me for the intense flavor that is a mixture of fish, the smell of dirty socks and the texture of rubber and slime at the same time. This is the nastiest thing that has ever come across my lips. Fair warning to the carb conscious person: unless you prefer fermented fish flavor and fun new consistencies that do not mix with any broth maybe try something else.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good When Used in the Right Dish
*by B***E on December 18, 2025*

I’ve been working on keeping my diet healthy and low‑carb, and these konjac noodles turned out to be a great addition. Each week I make a big pot of vegetable soup, and this time I decided to toss in the noodles for something different. They blended right in—absorbing the flavors of the veggies and spices beautifully. I’d read that some people noticed a fishy smell, but I didn’t experience that at all. Maybe the soup masked it, but to me they were completely neutral. The texture is unique—similar to glass noodles—so they’re not the best substitute for pasta in Italian dishes. But in Asian‑style recipes or soups, they work perfectly. The noodles themselves don’t have much flavor, which I actually like because they soak up whatever you cook them with. To me, the price seemed fair and, overall, I’m happy with them and plan to buy again.
