Then turn it right side up, put something underneath the back part, and hammer the sides down. Hit on the back of the arm rest close to the slots where the arms are joined to the side. Yes, if you have been using it, I bet it will be tight and hard to get loose. It's designed so your weight forces the parts closer together. Don't hit so hard you wreck it.
