It results that the color is a bright cyan and not royal blue. I am keeping it anyway because its smaller size fits the small chair that I will be putting it on. The cushion's padding makes it quite comfortable. It is even padding (my prior cushion was not), which is much better if you move around on the chair. Lastly, it has velcro ties to attach it to the chair back, which is great.Update: I've had this cushion three months now. Although everything I said previously is accurate, I want to add that it soils easily but does not clean easily. Face powder is what usually falls on it. On previous cushions, I could just brush it off. However, nothing brushes off this cushion easily. I else up having to use upholstery cleaner each day to clean it while I continue to try to find a replacement. However my desk chair is a swivel desk chair with one support and there are two ties on the seat cushion on either side of my chair. I needed one tie in the middle.
