I was pinned under the car with the front wheel against me. I was in coveralls and could not free myself. I did not care if I ripped the coveralls but it was almost impossible to wriggle out. I did finally get out and tried to hold the front wheel but I could not. The wheel rolled over my hand, into the blacktop. I then tried to grab the car but I got pulled onto my knees. The car was only stopped by hitting another car in the driveway. A few cuts on the back of my hand but no tendon damage, skinned knees, and a bruise on my left side. NEVER get under a car unless you Chock the wheels. I learned the hard way. The car would not downshift when pressing the accelerator to the floor. The fault was corrosion of the kickdown rod. I think that term became popular back when cd's were put into theft-proof cases that took 45 minutes, 17 tools, and 8 broken nails to remove from the case.
