A: I don't understand what you mean by bearings, but if you mean the clamps, then yes, the red round shaped discs in the photos are the clamps that you put at the end so that the weight plates don't slip-off. They do provide that. Hope this helps.

I am giving feedback after one month of regular usage. Some pros and cons Pros: the rod is sturdy and gives excellent hand grip for deadlift even upto 150kg. Cons: the clamps are too hard to use. Made up of very hard plastic, although I am using it with Little difficulty. One support brass ring was very loose and comes out every time when rod is used. Although fixed it with surgical tape and faviquick. Overall worth buying this olympic barbell in this price. So 4 stars for this product.
