No reason why it can't be used on valve cover gaskets. **Q: Can this be used to repair a failed freezer gasket or would it be too stickly and just fail during use? (Failed corner, 12 year old fridge)** A: I find this to be a very interesting question. I cannot however, say for certain but, once it is fully cured it doesn't seem tacky at all so I would have to think it would work. Your freezer is going to be down for some time though as you would have to leave the door open till fully cured. Make sure you build the bead up to be even with your gasket on the first try. What do you have to loose other than a couple bucks versus a new gasket or new freezer. I would certainly try it. **Q: Can I use it for quick fix on rubber refrigerator door gasket** A: If you are using it as an adhesive, It should hold the refrigerator gasket. It will not work as a gasket... unless you do not want to open the door ... I use it as a flexible glue type substance and/or sealant. **Q: Can I use this on reparing the seal inside the speed oven?** A: For that application you want to use the high temp version (Red).
