Soft flannel like blanket with the waterproof backing which is awesome. It doesn't really have any padding though which it seemed from other reviews that it did. definitely worth the money.

    Very Nifty Folding Design

This is a sturdy, thick picnic/beach blanket that can fold into a compact bundle for easy transport and storage. There are Velcro strips for securing, and a built-in handle for easy carrying. The material of the top side is a soft fleece type, while the underside is a non-porous foam that is water-resistant. The foam provides a little padding so your bum will be more thankful. The dimensions when unfolded are about 51 inches by 67 inches, so it is big enough for a small family to fit in, and it weighs only about a pound. The price is good, so I would recommend this. My only caveat is I wish there were more designs to choose from.
