The letters become white. So Yes, it does fade. Consistently. This has happened on two of them. **Q: are there prepunched holes?** A: I don't recall if there were or not. However, I hammered a nail in the top center and bottom center so the sign would not pull out as the trees grew. Easy to nail. **Q: What are the dimensions of this sign?** A: 9 1/4 tall and 13 1/2 wide Very thin, easily bent especially during shipping. **Q: does it glow in the dark?** A: Nope, It's flimsy thin. I tacked mine to plywood and screwed it to a tree.
