My dogs completely shredded it. This one advertised that the silicone bottom would last longer than the usual rubber found on these grabber bowls. So far, so good. The bowl doesn't slide around on the floor which is what I was looking for. It seems very sturdy and should last a long time. However, it only hold about 1 cup of dry food. For me, that's okay as my dog gets 1 cup of food twice a day. You could probably add 1 1/2 of dry food but anything more would spill over the sides. This bowl washes easily so it's perfect for my needs. I would definitely buy it again in a couple of years if this one wears out. The "fast eater" insert is great if your dog inhales their food which could cause stomach upsets and vomiting.
