Review: Warped and chipped on the sides. - This is a good panel and high quality. but it seems that the biggest problem comes with shipping it. the are solid but very fragile on the corners. whenever i order them i am bound to get a chipped one. not only from desertcart. they should label this as fragile or just protect the corners. also the bigger the size the more it is prone to warping. so storing them vertically/ diagonally will result in some warping.

A: The substrate on this 1/8" panel is Ampersand's unique high-density hardboard. It is designed to have extreme warp and moisture resistance.

**Q: Will this work for stretching paper?**
A: I don't believe so. Never heard of that before.

**Q: Will this work for stretching paper?**
A: Yes, it is sealed and ready for mounting. To prevent unnecessary stress on the panel however, simply mount the paper to the surface with your adhesive and wrap it over the edges. You do not need to pull or "stretch" it taut over the sides since the panel will support the paper from behind.  Thank you! Dana at Ampersand

This is a good panel and high quality. but it seems that the biggest problem comes with shipping it. the are solid but very fragile on the corners. whenever i order them i am bound to get a chipped one. not only from amazon. they should label this as fragile or just protect the corners. also the bigger the size the more it is prone to warping. so storing them vertically/ diagonally will result in some warping.
