I got this backpack for daily use and I have been really happy with it. The size is just right to hold my laptop, charger, notebooks, and still have room left for other stuff. The padded laptop compartment keeps my computer safe and I like that the zippers open smoothly without snagging. The straps are comfortable even when the bag is fully packed and it feels sturdy enough to handle being used every day. I have a lot of stuff so I got tired of taking 2 purses to work, I’m not sure what the backpack is meant for as in school, hiking, work or outside use; but I use it for work. It seems to work well it has nice size - water bottle pockets, nice padded area for iPad or laptop, lots of zippers , is comfortable on my back , fits all my stuff . It stands up by itself as it says , I got it on sale for $60 but I don’t think I would pay $80
