The readings are quick and consistent, whether I’m ranging targets at 100 yards or pushing it further out. The 6X magnification is clear and sharp, making it easy to lock onto targets. The multiple modes are genuinely useful; distance, angle compensation, speed, and scan all work as advertised. Angle mode is especially handy for elevated shots, and scan mode makes tracking moving targets really easy. I also really appreciate the rechargeable battery; it’s one less thing to worry about compared to constantly swapping out CR2s, and a single charge will last for several trips to the range or the woods. It feels well made and doesn’t feel cheap. The camo finish has a nice texture and blends well in the woods. It is water resistant and has handled light rain without issue. The included carrying case is a nice bonus and protects it well in a pack. Overall, this is a reliable rangefinder that performs like models costing quite a bit more.
