My pics show a queen size bed, and the netting drags on the ground, so I think it will also work quite well for a king size. I have it hung 6-7” below my ceiling fan and I can still use the fan(!). I hung it from the ceiling hook over the top 1/3 of my bed & put it behind the bed head. I’m thinking of moving the hook about 6” more towards the center...we’ll see. The ‘anchor’ that comes with the screw-hook was a fail...too flimsy to get into the wallboard. So, I bought a sturdy anchor at the hardware store and problem solved.
