They have a snug fit and are unlikely to pop off in the event you need to move your PS5 around a bit inside of a TV stand or another tight area. They helped increase stability, and more importantly they helped reduce or in most cases completely eliminate the vibration noises that my PS5 would make with the OEM stand when in the horizontal position! Be careful of the rubber feet however, they are not attached right out of the box and could be easy to miss when unpacking the skates.
