**Q: Sorry for being silly but does this design take pressure off the door, im worried it will break the loop?**
A: It hangs from the door latch on the inside door sill, not the door. The latch is the thick U-shaped piece that the door locks onto to.
So this doesn't affect the door at all, and if you are under 15 stone it will take your weight easily.

**Q: The ad shows a car, but the words only mention suv etc. does it work on normal car?**
A: I cannot see why not - it fits into a standard metal hoop found on most car door frames

**Q: Would this fit an old Mercedes C class?**
A: As long as it has a d hook that the door catch shuts to then it will fit , only door I've found it not to fit is the sliding door on my Lucida as the hook is wrong way around

**Q: Can anyone who have used it tell me if it leaves a dent on the car body?**
A: Can't speak for every car, but never for me.  Two things to be careful of tho:  1/  Make sure you don't leave it in when you shut the door, don't think it'd dent it but may scratch or do some other damage.  2/  The rubber/plastic ends are not stuck on with anything so you have to be very careful not to lose them.  Again it wouldn't dent (at least not my car), but would scratch without them.

This is like the product offered on the US version of Dragon's Den- Shark Tank but much cheaper, it allows a step up to your roof rack or roof box, it is sturdy aluminium with a rubber block to protect your car paint work, used a couple of times and it feels secure.
