My first Royal Essence candle was in a "tin" this one is in glass holder so you can see the pretty blue color of the candle, and it is reusable. There are 2 wicks on the candle so it burns evenly. The scent is bright, yet soft, clean and fresh, it is my favorite scent thus far. It kind of reminds me of a pleasant laundry detergent. The surprise ring was in a tiny ziploc bag wrapped in blue/green foil and was down low enough in the wax that you had to burn the candle for a while to get it out, but not too low down as to cause frustration in waiting. The ring itself is .925 sterling silver with a oval-shaped blue opal and some CZ stones (I assume) around it. It fits very comfortably on my finger. Mine was valued at $130 online. It was fun to be surprised with the ring design, and when I wear it, it's surreal to think it came out of a candle.
