For some reason they sent me a green one, when I placed an order for blue. I really was surprised and very happy about it though. I had found a green candle warmer that I really liked but it didn't have the spout or handle like this one, and I really wanted an easy way to pour the tart liquid back into the little plastic packages when I was changing scents. So, I decided to go with this one in BLUE even though it wasn't exactly the color I wanted. Upon opening the package (which was very well packaged and protected) I realized that the one they gave me wasn't the blue I was expecting, but was green! The color I really wanted in the first place. :P How's that for awesome? Okay I realize this has nothing to do with the function of this candle warmer, but it was a nice bonus. Now about candle warmer: It's a very nice size, about 4-5" wide and stands about 5-6" high. The bowl has a 'tea cup' looking handle on it and a nice sized spout. It's super easy to pour the wax tart liquid back into the tart packages for them to solidify and reuse again anytime you want to change scents. It makes it SO easy. The hot plate gets VERY hot, and melts the tarts very well. You can put a whole package of the tarts into this dish and still have room for more if you have a very large room you wish to deodorize. I love this warmer so much better than the ones that use the little light bulbs. It melts the tarts much better and the scent is carried much better throughout the room. I also love that you can use the dish to melt wax tarts, or you can place a whole glass candle jar on top of the warmer. Very cool dual function. The design on this is very cute, little leaves and the paint makes it look like it's an old antique clay pot and stand. I've had several people ask me about it so far and it's been fun revealing that it's a wax tart warmer. So glad I browsed through amazon's selection, because I've not been able to find anything like this in my town at local stores. I am thinking about buying a couple more for my home, and I am absolutely getting one of these for my mom, sister, and sister-in-law for xmas this year!
