Before I bought this battery I bought another one on Amazon that was $2 cheaper than this one, but not only did that one not fit, it was assembled in an extremely unsafe and sloppy manner that smoke actually came off the battery cell when I tried to install it. This, however, is as good as it gets for an off-brand battery. The screw holes align perfectly when I drop it in. The quality is excellent, and I cannot tell by looking at the battery that anything is sloppy or unsafe or not done to the correct standards. Also it still has 70% charge when I install it and it's not DOA like some other alternatives, and the Coconut Battery app shows it's manufacturer in Jan 2021, has 1 charge cycle, has 6839 mAh which is above the OEM design capacity of 6559mAh and has 104% health. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 11.34V 71.8WH A1493 New Laptop Battery *by R***K on October 28, 2022* This battery works great and holds a charge. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect fit *by G***E on September 29, 2022* can't complain when it fits perfect and was easy to install.
