After 3 weeks of PT I graduated to the green, but I use the yellow to "warm up" before using green. This putty is 6 oz, just as it states. It is enough to work with two hands. I have a little bit of tennis elbow and this does create some discomfort, which means it's working the muscles, so it's not as soft as I thought it would be. If you want something for kids (or really easy to work with), you might want to go with the tan.
