Therefore, next time we do it, we'll try putting a layer of polyurethane on top. **Q: Can this be used on ceramic tile?** A: yes you can. If at all possible try to sand your tile a little to get sheen off. Use a good quality primer for tile first and than paint with Valspar. I used this on my steps outside and mixed some sand and it lasted great. I live in northeast so it snows alot. Even throwed calcium chloride on it and no problems. Love this paint. Well worth the money. **Q: why is this Not for Exterior wood decks/porches?** A: I'm not exactly sure...sorry...
