The bell stopped working after 18 months. With a new battery it still does not work. Does it need resetting in some way please** A: I had the same problem a month ago with my door bell tried a new battery in bell push no success. pluged the bell chimes into a 13Amp socket and tested by pressing button on the side and found that chimes played. so came to the conclusion that bell push was at fault. A you could not buy a bell push on it's own had to purchase a complete new push and chimes.
