Of course Iodine is a naturally occurring trace element that many of us don't get enough of from our diet. That amount is useful for some purposes (antiseptic) but far too much for most people, you don't want to burn out your thyroid -- you would become very sick indeed. **Q: How many mg of iodine per drop?** A: According to the Lugols website, one drop of 2% gives 1.0 mg of iodine and 2.0 mg of potassium iodide. **Q: My lugols iodine no longer has a taste...both sealed and unsealed.
