Review: This is a MUST READ that will save many lives (and a lot of pain, suffering, and expense) - My father (turned 90 in January 2017) cured his own colon cancer diagnosed at 85 years old - without surgery, chemo, or radiation. His search for a non-invasive, non-harming treatment (which he ended up doing on his own) led me to finding TheTruthAboutCancer. I have been getting Ty's newsletters and watching his amazing videos for a couple years now. So I wasn't sure if I should bother with the book. Wow, I am so glad I did! The book describes very clearly how and why cancer cells form constantly in all of our bodies but are destroyed before they can become harm us...and why some people's bodies stop being able to thwart the cancer cells before they multiply and take over, even creating their own blood supplies (the nerve!) which becomes a tumor. Then he describes in a very concise and understandable way, the multiple strategies for preventing and/or fighting cancer that will not harm the rest of your body. He also describes numerous less-invasive and more accurate tests that indicate whether you have cancer and in some cases where it is. My dad would have loved this information when he was fighting cancer (and he still might use these tests). He had to do it blind with no support from Kaiser doctors at all. The biggest stress he had was wondering whether what he was doing was working. After 1.5 years, he browbeat Kaiser into giving him another colonoscopy. And much to their chagrin, the cancerous polyp was gone! Unfortunately, their electronic medical record does not have a great way to story information about what he did so it is searchable and reportable for future patients. None of their patients will be told my dad's story. That is why Ty's book is so important. At the beginning Ty describes the history of cancer treatment and why much or all of the information presented isn't common knowledge. I personally appreciated this part but for those of you just learning about these important available treatments, it is probably better to start with the chapters about cancer cells and then the treatments. This is a MUST READ for someone with cancer. It doesn't matter what kind. I have already had one neighbor with cancer turn down borrowing my book. If you have cancer, even though it may feel good to just have a plan, I encourage you to at least read about your other options. That way, at any point in time, if plan A is not working, you can move quickly to plan B. Or you might even try some of the treatments from this book in conjunction with conventional treatment.
Review: Has brought us hope and peace of mind! - I ordered this book for my father who was just diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer. I ended up ordering one for myself as it has helped my dad have someone else in the know and to help him discuss plans of action and help keep his fears somewhat under control. We watched many of the TTAC Symposium presentations too - I HIGHLY recommend those. Overall these different treatments are encouraging to cancer patients and their families alike. So often people just assume Cancer is a death notice. I love the statement from one of the Drs: 'Accept the diagnosis - not the prognosis' Don't ever listen to a doctor that tells you you have a limited time to live. This book is very informative - overwhelming with all the options - but encouraging none-the-less. Section I is interesting - the history of how the AMA and Big Pharma squelched natural treatments from the mainstream. Section II, I have not yet read, but is Cancer Diagnosis, Detection, Causes, and Prevention. Section III is what I read first - and is recommended for those that have or have recently been diagnosed with Cancer. It details many of the options that Ty himself has researched and discussed with the doctors that offer them. I was AMAZED at all of the various treatment options! To be honest, there are so many, I understand my father being overwhelmed on where to start. We came up with a plan - have decided to try it for 3 months - and then see how things are at that point before any further decisions. The hardest part for my parents is having to learn a whole new way to eat a healthy, whole food diet. They are so set in their ways, and having a tough time giving up their favorites - especially when the neighbors bring by home baked sweets on a regular basis! That and having the jerk oncologist who flat out told my dad he had zero chance of survival if he decided to do alternative treatments for his cancer! I want to call him up and give him a piece of my mind! How dare he put that negativity into my dad's mind! And speaking of mind - the book and symposium do touch on the fact that your mind is a powerful key to your health - and to do as much as possible to keep positive! Overall, I highly recommend this book, the organization and all that they are doing to share the multitude of options people have towards treating and even preventing cancer AND other disease. In fact, I have been having a change of heart as to my life's calling - and may try to find a way to change my job to help others who may need some direction and encouragement.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very comprehensive and highly interesting book with only the truth about cancer.

A year ago I daily on the Internet was following Ty on his travel around to different countries for there talking with persons about cancer, and how to cure it in other ways than by the use of chemotherapy and/or surgery. And when I preordered this book I mostly expected that it would be a rewriting about this travel, and that there would be nothing new for me as I already own 50 books about cancer, but instead it turned out to be a book with much new information to me concerning more ways in which to cure cancer. For example, it was interesting to read about cannabis, as we during the last months, in Denmark, have had much writing about cannabis, allowing it for helping sick persons. So, while reading in Ty’s book I immediately ordered a book about cannabis used against cancer. Most of my books against cancer have been bought since my wife 4 ½ year ago, went through surgery, after then by mammography was discovered in having at tumor on less than 1/3 of an inch in one of her breasts. And the Thai doctor here in Chiang Mai’s hospital, especially used by foreigners, told her that if she was waiting more than a week for a surgery then she would die! She was scared by them, and didn’t listen to me, and the next day went through the surgery, and a week in the hospital. One of the following times when she returned home after a control, she then told me that this day 32 women was in the hospital for breast surgery, and all of them would have bout of their breasts removed. The doctors here in Chiang Mai tells the women that this always is necessary! A doctor in Bangkok, which my wife actually has known since the doctor was a child, later told her that it was nonsense what the doctors here in Chiang Mai told her. But she was scared to die in few days, and lost thinking, and thereby contacting other doctors. After this case, and other doctor failures, here in Chiang Mai, also on me, I now own around 450 health and doctor books, most of them bought, and read, during my fighting with doctors here in Chiang Mai, during nearly all of the 14 years I now have lived here. But again, Ty’s book was highly interesting, with much more information than I ever had expected, and thereby can see that I have also to buy the first book Ty wrote.
