I decided the suspense was KILLING me so I looked on Amazon and found the garment here, with only 2 day shipping, but I paid for Same Day delivery and it got here the same day I ordered it! When I took them out of the packaging to try on, I was afraid it wouldn't be the right size. Not only was it the correct size, it smoothed out ALL my lumps and bumps! I am 5'8" and 184lbs and the Medium/Large fit perfectly. Truthfully I could have probably downsized if I wanted to but I don't think I'd be able to breathe lol. Anyway, I bought both the nude and the black one. I wore the black one for a day and LOVED it. It did not roll down not once throughout the day that I wore it. Best time to try it on is in the morning when your stomach and bladder is empty. It compresses very well and I think this garment would also be great on days when you're feeling bloated. I noticed my posture improved slightly while wearing this garment as well.I don't necessarily have extra fat, but I had a child 13yrs ago and still have extra skin on my tummy. There are some things that diet and exercise does not solve. This helped to smooth that out. Even when sitting, the garment did not roll down. I was getting in and out of my car all day and no issues. I think the key component is the boning in the upper portion. It helps to keep the garment straight up at all times yet also assists with cinching your waistline. I plan to eventually have a tummy tuck in the near future, but this garment will at least hold me over until that happens. Might even make for a great compression garment/faja once I'm post-op!If you wear the garment with panties underneath, your panty line from the actual panties underneath will show. If you wear JUST the garment as your panty, you will not have that problem. I tried on just the garment under a one-piece jumpsuit I own and everything was nice and smooth underneath, garment was not detectable. Could probably get away with a thong or g-string underneath if you insist on wearing underwear with these, but they are already underwear so I wore mine without.Also, the back portion has a slight butt-lifting mechanism to it. It doesn't lift it much. But the effect is there. Wonder if there is a garment like this which does lift your butt more, that would be cool. Personally I already have a big butt so I don't need it much bigger but would like more roundness.Hand-washing is recommended for this garment, but tbh you would get away with machine-washing cold OR delicate and then tumble drying on lowest setting posssible OR allowing it to air-dry after the machine wash if you are afraid of it shrinking.Anyway, good luck to you! If you purchase this item, it is definitely US sized, so go with the size you actually do wear; do not upsize or downsize. It looks tiny when you get it out of the bag, but once you get it on, it's amazing and very comfortable to wear. All compression/waist cinching garments are supposed to be a little difficult to get on. If it's super easy, it's not going to get you snatched like you'd like to be. I can almost envision what my results will be like after surgery as well and I'm pretty stoked!I highly recommend this garment to anyone who just wants to smooth things out OR appear slimmer in certain clothing.
