Quickly remove tough surface mold and mildew stains on a wide variety of surfaces throughout the home, including ceramic tile, baseboards, fabrics, glass, brick, concrete, natural stone, laminated countertops, fully cured and oil-based painted surfaces, hard plastics, automobile tires, wood, grout and fiberglass. Bleach-free stain remover has a foam sprayer that allows for a more direct application, preventing splash back and spores from spreading in the air. Part of the EPA’s Safer Choice Program recognizing the product as a safer alternative to traditional chemicals. Should not be used on metals or finishes, especially stainless steel appliance exteriors. Do not use on stainless steel appliance exteriors. **Q: will it work on the black mold stains on the rubber rim of my front load washer?**
A: This isn't as strong as the bleaching agent. But should be able to remove that type of mold.

**Q: Is this safe to use on unsealed travertine shower tile?**
A: While our CLR Mold & Mildew Clear is safe to use on most natural stones (sealed/unsealed), it's always important to spot test first.  Our product is formulated as a mild topical mold/mildew stain remover and does not contain the necessary chemicals to kill mold or mildew spores or prevent them from growing back

**Q: does this kill mold?**
A: I don’t know if my shower had mold or mildew but whatever it was, it got completely rid of it. I love this product, but I did spray it on, let it sit for required amount of time, then used scrub brush. And we have a large walk in tile shower.

**Q: Is this safe to use to clean mold in the Washing machine door gasket?**
A: While our CLR Mold & Mildew Clear is safe to use on the rubber gasket on your front loading washing machine, it's formulated to remove topical stains caused by mold or mildew at the beginning stages of growth and does not contain any chemicals that will kill mold or mildew or prevent the spores from growing back.  Per information found on our website: If mold is left on surface, like rubber gaskets, silicone caulking or grout, for even a week, mold can embed into surface, in which case product will no longer work effectively.
