Can’t beat a classic Opinel!
I bought the Opinel #9 in Walnut. 12C27M stainless steel blade (3.51 inches).Such a fantastic knife. I really like the darker “fancier” walnut. The #9 is the perfect size for my hands. The blade and lock move smoothly. I also like there is no print or branding on the wood handle. Made in France!

Great father's day gift👍
Got it for my dad for father's day. He wanted a knife with a simple appearance, and was pleased with it. The only critique I have, would be that the locking mechanism is some kind of plastic, not metal. Nothing wrong with it yet, but I worry it's durability won't last.

Nicely Made and Quite Sharp
I have several stainless steel Opinel No.09 knives in both beechwood and walnut. All are nicely made and the workmanship is consistently excellent. The lock is simple and very effective. The blades arrive clean, sharp, and nick-free.

A fine little knife
Nice knife I really like the walnut handle. The blade came pretty sharp but with some wicked burs. Not a problem ran it across a hone a few times and boom razer sharp.
