I live in a rural area. Only one store sells safety pins, but not large ones. I was so excited when found these, but sad to learn that they are not well made. The tips are bentand have burrs. It's extremely difficult to get the pins through fabric. The pins would not pass thru cotton, cotton flannel or thin fleece without using heavy-duty pliers. Several pins bent because the wire is too thin/soft.
