There are buttons on the fan with which you can control fan speed and mode. **Q: Will this fan fit a 24 inch wide window?** A: no. the fan is almost 25" wide. **Q: Can this fan be used in slider windows?** A: Yes, this heater can be used in slider / casement windows.
